Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you (Psalm 9:10, NIV.)
Most times, it’s not the big events in life or the big breaks that get us where we need to be, it’s the little things, the daily disciplines that move us forward in the good things God has for us.
I believe there are three things you can do every day that can change the course of your life. Number one, expect God’s goodness. Get up every day looking for God’s favor. Number two, recognize God’s goodness. There are no coincidences, no lucky breaks. It’s all the goodness of God. And number three, always thank God for His goodness. Anytime something good happens, big or little, give God the glory. “Lord, thank You for that parking spot. Lord, thank You for that idea. Lord, thank You for sending me dew in my desert.”
If you do this, I believe and declare that you’re going to come into more of God’s goodness; that His blessings are going to come after you. God is going to open up supernatural doors. He’s going to turn negative situations around. Get ready because something good is coming your way! You’re going to fulfill your God-given destiny because He never forsakes those who seek after Him!

Seven Secrets of a Confident Woman by Joyce Meyer
Secret #1 A confident woman knows that she is loved
The first and most important secret to being a confident woman is to know that you are loved by God unconditionally. Romans 5:8 says, …God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us. Even if your natural father did not really love you properly, you can still get the love and acceptance you missed in your childhood from God.
Secret #2—A Confident Woman Refuses To Live In Fear
I think you will agree that refusing to be led by our feelings can be a challenge, especially when it comes to fear. But we must remember that fear is not from God. It is the devil’s tool to keep us from enjoying our lives and moving forward with what God has for us. When we attempt to walk in faith, Satan immediately tries to hinder us through many things, including fear. Fear of failure, judgment or criticism will cause us to bury our talents. It will make us draw back and live in misery and torment. Unless we make a firm decision to “fear not,” we will never be free from its power.
Secret #3—A Confident Woman Is Positive
Being negative and being confident do not go together. Like oil and water, they just don’t mix. Being negative opens the door to a lot of problems and disappointments, which fuels the fire for more negativity. Fear is the “dark room” where all your negatives are developed. So why not look at the brighter side of life and believe something good is going to happen to you?
Secret #4—A Confident Woman Recovers From Setbacks
In this life you and I are inevitably going to experience setbacks. The important thing is that we not see them as failures. We are not a failure just because we try something that doesn’t work. It’s only when we stop trying that we fail. The truth is, many people get confused when they’re trying to figure out what they’re supposed to do with their lives. This was definitely true in my life. I discovered my destiny by trial and error.
Secret #5—A Confident Woman Avoids Comparison It is impossible to walk in confidence and compare ourselves with others at the same time. No matter how good we look or how talented, smart and successful we are, there is always someone who is better than us. I believe that confidence is found in doing the best we can with what we have. God wants us to find joy in being the best we can be, not in competing or comparing ourselves with others.
Secret #6—A Confident Woman Does Not Live In “If Only” And “What If”
One of the worst things you and I can do is to focus on what we don’t have or have lost and fail to take an inventory of what we do have. I call it living in a state of “if only.” Does this sound familiar: “If only I had more education…more money…more opportunity. If only I were taller, shorter, older, younger…” and the list goes on.
Secret #7—A Confident Woman Takes Action
I have heard it said that there are two types of people in the world: those who wait for something to happen and those who make something happen. It’s true that we need to be careful not to get ahead of God, but we also must be mindful not to be lagging behind. I believe we need to step out into things and find out what God has for us. As I said earlier, if we make a mistake it is not the end of the world.
As a believer, Christ lives inside you, and you’ve got what it takes! I believe that as you seek the Lord and apply these seven secrets to your life, you too will begin experiencing the boldness and confidence God desires you to walk in.

There is nothing like knowing who you belong to…We serve such an amazing God that created the heavens and the earth, the moon and the stars, the oceans and the mountains, and in the mist of everything graciously gave you and me life. I use the word graciously simply because He didn’t have to do it. God gave us life but He also gave us everything we needed in advance to have a life of purpose, abundance, and prosperity. He’s a God that see’s ahead and provides.
Not only did God provide ahead but He provided a helper called the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps us trust God in ways we can not imagine. When we fail the Holy Spirit is there to be our guide to make us stronger. We can rest in the assurance that God has our well being in His hand but we have to trust that He has all control.
Don’t be afraid to trust God and the Holy Spirit to lead you. The Holy Spirit is there for a reason. You belong to a wonderful God that gives sovereign help, call upon His name, and rest in His embrace.

TRUST…Tell me, what comes to mind when you see or hear this word? Well immediately for me I thought about relationships. Trust is important to me within a relationship whether it be with a friend, a family member, or romantic partner. The relationships we create with people are built on so many things but TRUST being the most important.
We tell our most intimate thoughts and feelings to our friends, family, and spouses. We believe in confidence that we can confide in the people that we care about the most, and TRUST them to not share our feelings, problems, and thoughts with others. They can give their opinions, love, and wisdom when needed the best way that they can, but sometimes it is just not enough…
Looking up the word TRUST Webster’s Dictionary describes it as ” assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something. Belief that something or someone is reliable, good, honest, and effective, ect.”
To be honest I have a large number of family and friends in my life that I know will do anything for me. But There is no one in my life that I can TRUST like God and His word. He knows my past and future, is my strength when I am weak, and provides wisdom and truth in my life through the Holy Spirit at any time or day.
Believing that someone besides God can love and care for me is not enough. I have complete TRUST in God that He has the ability, strength, and power to accomplish any and everything I need, and there is no doubt in my mind that He is: honest, good and reliable.
There is no way it would be hard to TRUST someone like Him. He’s the real thing. You don’t have to worry or stress about anything. He has sacrificed so much for us, and continues to show His love daily…How can we not TRUST a God like that?

WHO TOLD YOU TO GIVE UP?

image

Who told you to give up? Who told you that you couldn’t do it? Who told you that your dream wasn’t possible? The enemy will do anything possible to stop you from reaching your full potential…or let’s say purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 says,” For I know the plan that I have for you, ” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Continue to trust in God and the purpose that He has for your life. There may be days where you become discouraged and upset that things are not going as YOU plan. But remember that God has EVERYTHING under control. Remember to submit to His word, His voice, and His spirit. There’s blessings in obedience and through His obedience you will be blessed.

It’s one thing to know that you’re going into a challenging season. You get prepared for it. You get mentally ready. But what about the difficulties that we don’t see coming? The unexpected crisis that catches us off-guard? Sometimes, it can seem so overwhelming that it almost knocks the wind right out of us.
The Scripture says that we shouldn’t be surprised by fiery trials. That’s because the forces of darkness would not be fighting against you if they didn’t know that God has something amazing in your future! Sometimes, those unexpected difficulties are just a sign that you’re on the right track. It’s always darkest just before the dawn appears. The enemy always fights the hardest when you are closest to your breakthrough. The key is to stay the course and keep fighting the good fight of faith. Keep your joy and keep declaring God’s Word over your future. God has promised that you will overcome every obstacle. You will defeat every enemy, and right now, I declare that you will fulfill your destiny in Jesus’ name!

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13, NKJV)
When was the last time you declared “I can” out loud? It’s not something people think to do every day. In fact, most people tend to magnify their limitations. They focus on their shortcomings. But scripture makes it plain: all things are possible to those who believe. That’s right! It is possible to see your dreams fulfilled. It is possible to overcome that obstacle. It is possible to climb to new heights. It is possible to embrace your destiny. You may not know how it will all take place. You may not have a plan, but all you have to know is that if God said you can…you can!
Today, why don’t you begin to open yourself up to possibilities in your future by simply declaring this verse, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength?” At the stoplight, when you’re waiting in line, any time you have a second just quote this verse to yourself again. Let it sink down deeply into your heart. As you do, His word will transform you. Faith will rise up in your heart and will boldly embrace the blessings that He has in store for you!

Walking in Doubt not in FEAR

image

We have all that moment when you know that things are going your way. That the very dreams and desires you imagined and dreamed for in your life are finally coming true. Not only in your eyes but those around you also. I always knew that my purpose would be something that would bring Glory to God, but I never imagined that it would be something that would change others lives.

Growing up I had my dreams and believed with everything in my heart that it was what God wanted me to do in my life. But It was not until later in my life that I was fully able to realize that my purpose had absolutely nothing to do with me. It was about blessing others. I can be honest, I was upset…I wanted to do what i wanted to do. It was to the point where I was thinking, okay God…I know you only do what’s best for me, and it’s always the best, but is it cool if we negotiate my destiny? Cause my destiny and your destiny do not match.

Of course the feelings that I was feeling would only be temporary but It was coming to the point where I was trying to make sure that the decision I was making was truly God. I trusted God but was insure about my decisions based on my circumstances at times. Some decisions worked, and others did not. It got to the point, that I was walking by faith and hope that things my circumstances would work out. Some may say I was doubting God but to be honest I was not in doubt, but in fear…I was just scared.

Scared to fail. Failure is not an option for me, although, God showed me that there may be times you are going to fail. But you have to keep going and accomplish your purpose. Because the majority of the time your purpose untimely has nothing to do with you but everything about blessing others. What if I had not walked in fear? I may have not been able to experience the opportunities to bless others, and see lives changed on a daily basis. I walked in fear until the faith and hope I had actually became a reality to me. Walk by faith not by sight and see how God will always change your doubts and fears into a reality not only for you but those around you.

“For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.” (Psalm 100:5, NKJV)
When you make a mistake, unfortunately, the critics and naysayers come out of the woodwork. People will tell you, “You’re all washed up. It’s too late.” If you wear that label, it will keep you from the amazing future God has in store. God says, “My mercy is bigger than any mistake.” God says, “I can still get you to your destiny.” God says, “I will give you beauty for those ashes. I’ll pay you back double for the unfair things that have happened.” You wouldn’t be alive unless God had another victory in your future. Why don’t you take off the “washed up” label? Take off the “failure,” “guilty,” “condemned” labels and put on some new labels: redeemed, restored, forgiven, bright future, new beginning.
Always remember, you have been made in the image of Almighty God. God did not make any mistakes. You are the perfect size. You have the right personality, the right gifts, the right looks, the right skin color. You are not an accident. God designed you precisely for the race that is laid out for you. You are fully equipped for this life, and His mercy is greater than any mistake you could make. Embrace the truth and the victory He has in store for your future!
